5 Blogging Lessons You Can Learn From Einstein

Albert Einstein. Just mention the name and you need no further introduction. His contribution to the world of modern physics is widely known. One of the most prolific intellects in human history, his name is now synonymous with genius. As bloggers, there is so much to learn from this great man. His thoughts provide great insights on the various aspects of blogging. How? Read on!

“Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.”

When you blog, mistakes are bound to happen. But those are the mistakes that will help in improving your content and blogging skills further. Keep a check on your blog – avoid mistakes like having way too many ads, writing on topics you don’t have interest/knowledge in etc. Remember, mistakes are a part of your learning process!

“I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.

Being curious helps. A lot.

A curious blogger will constantly keep looking for good, up-to-date content and that’s exactly what will help him/her to reach success. With something happening every second in the world, a good blogger needs to keep his/her eyes and ears wide open. Research and keep asking questions. As Einstein said, “The important thing is not to stop questioning.”

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.”

A good blogger needs to have extensive imagination. Imagination helps you come up with a variety of ideas and hence widens your scope for writing. Blogging is an open sky, imagination gives you wings to fly!

Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.”

Trust me when I say this – EVERY single blogger on the face of the earth has faced criticism. There will be opposition. That’s okay. Remember, you don’t blog to please everyone; you blog to give a platform to your thoughts, ideas, opinions, creations and tips. Not everyone will like you, but don’t let it get to you.  If the criticism is constructive – take it and improve the next time. If not, laugh it off and move on. A blogger has to be thick skinned ( I took a full one year to develop it!)

“Keep on sowing your seed, for you never know which will grow – perhaps it all will.”

Keep writing. Don’t stop. Sometimes, it’s better to not worry about results and just write, write, write. When you write without expecting too much from it, you won’t get disappointed. Just write with passion, write from your heart every time and you’ll be okay.

Albert Einstein did not speak until he was 4-years-old and did not read until he was 7. His parents thought he was “sub-normal,” and one of his teachers described him as “mentally slow, unsociable, and adrift forever in foolish dreams.” So the best lesson we can learn from him, as a blogger, is to never give up. Don’t let anyone bring you down and success will be yours.

So there, some things that we can learn from Albert Einstein about blogging! Hope you enjoyed this post. Thanks for reading 🙂
