According to GetResponse’s study, the number of users who include social sharing buttons in their emails have shot up by 40% compared to last year, increasing to 18.3%. These emails garnered an average click through rate of 115% higher.
As you will notice in the infographic below, findings show that Facebook boasts of a great share rate via email social sharing buttons compared to Twitter. Hence, Facebook is a popular sharing button in emails since it has been included in a whopping 91% of social emails as opposed to Twitter, which dropped by 25%. This just proves that Facebook is still a frontrunner in the social media world. According to the infographic, users who added 1 icon in their email received a much better response than those who included 4.
